1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Site or submitting any information through our forms, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or services.

These Terms apply to all visitors, homeowners, property owners, business owners, and contractors who interact with our Site in any way.

2. Description of Service

Colorado Contractor Connect is a lead referral and contractor matching service. We connect homeowners, landlords, and business owners ("Clients") with independent local contractors ("Contractors") who are interested in bidding on their projects.

Our service includes:

• Accepting project quote requests from Clients via our online form
• Matching Client requests with relevant Contractors in our network based on trade, service area, and availability
• Transmitting Client project information to matched Contractors so they may prepare and deliver quotes
• Maintaining a network of Contractors who have applied to receive project leads

3. Contractor Pre-Screening

Contractors who join our network go through a basic review process before being accepted. This may include:

• Verification of Colorado contractor license information provided during application
• Review of business information, trade specialty, and service area
• Confirmation of valid contact information

While we make reasonable efforts to work with legitimate, professional contractors, we do not guarantee the quality, licensing status, insurance coverage, workmanship, timeliness, or conduct of any contractor in our network. Pre-screening is intended to filter out clearly fraudulent applicants and is not a comprehensive vetting or endorsement process.

Clients are solely responsible for independently verifying a contractor's current license, insurance, and qualifications before hiring them or signing any contract.

4. Client Responsibilities

As a Client using our service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, truthful information when submitting a quote request
• Use the contact information provided only to discuss your project with matched contractors
• Independently verify any contractor's license, insurance, and references before hiring
• Negotiate, enter into, and manage any agreements directly with the contractor of your choosing
• Not hold Colorado Contractor Connect responsible for the outcome of any work performed

5. Contractor Responsibilities

As a Contractor in our network, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information during your application, including valid license numbers
• Maintain all required licenses, insurance, and certifications required by Colorado law
• Contact leads only regarding the specific project they have submitted
• Not use Client contact information for spam, solicitation outside the scope of the original project, or any unlawful purpose
• Conduct all work in a professional manner and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations

We reserve the right to remove any contractor from our network at any time for any reason, including but not limited to violations of these Terms or complaints from Clients.

6. No Guarantees

Colorado Contractor Connect makes no guarantees of any kind regarding:

• The quality, safety, or timeliness of any work performed by a matched contractor
• That any contractor will respond to your request or submit a quote
• The accuracy of information provided by contractors during their application
• That you will receive any specific number of quotes
• That any contractor you hire through our referral will complete the project satisfactorily

Our service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Colorado Contractor Connect, its owners, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of or reliance on our Site or services
• Any work performed (or not performed) by a contractor you were connected with through our service
• Any disputes between Clients and Contractors
• Any inaccuracy in information provided by a contractor during their application
• Any failure or interruption of our Site or services

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00). Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability; in such cases, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Independent Contractor Relationship

All contractors in our network are independent businesses, not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of Colorado Contractor Connect. Nothing in these Terms or in our matching process creates any employment, agency, joint venture, or partnership relationship between Colorado Contractor Connect and any contractor.

Colorado Contractor Connect does not supervise, direct, or control the work of any contractor. We do not set prices, schedules, or methods of work. We do not guarantee that any contractor holds a valid license or insurance at the time they perform work for you, even if such credentials were confirmed during our initial review. You are solely responsible for verifying a contractor's current credentials before hiring them.

Any agreement you enter into with a contractor found through our service is solely between you and that contractor. Colorado Contractor Connect is not a party to any such agreement and assumes no responsibility for contractor performance, disputes, payments, warranties, property damage, personal injury, or any other matter arising from the work.

All disputes between Clients and Contractors must be resolved directly between those parties. We have no authority to mediate, arbitrate, or resolve such disputes, though we may remove a contractor from our network upon receiving credible complaints.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Colorado Contractor Connect and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of our Site or services
• Any work performed by a contractor you were connected with through our service, including any property damage, personal injury, or financial loss
• Any breach of these Terms by you
• Any misrepresentation made by you in connection with our services (including false project information or false contractor credentials)
• Any dispute between you and another party arising from your use of our service

This indemnification obligation applies to both Clients and Contractors and survives the termination of your use of our services.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, and page design — is the property of Colorado Contractor Connect and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this Site without our prior written consent.

11. Privacy

Your use of our Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in that policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
